Buying

How to start, how reservations work, and what we need from you.

How do I start?
Send us the model, budget, and any must-have requirements. If you already found a lot on our auction list, share the lot URL or stock number. We’ll confirm availability and advise the best approach.
Do I need to visit Japan?
No. Most customers buy remotely. We provide auction sheets, photos/videos when available, and clear explanations so you can make a confident decision from overseas.
Can you source a specific model for me?
Yes. We can monitor auctions and propose candidates that match your requirements. Tell us your target range, preferred grade/condition, mileage range, and color options if relevant.

Pricing

What the displayed price means, deposits, and cost breakdowns.

Are your prices in JPY?
Yes. Prices on our Japan site are displayed in JPY. If any additional costs apply (export, inland transport, etc.), we explain them upfront with a clear breakdown.
Do you have hidden fees?
No. We don’t do “surprise” charges. If a cost exists, we disclose it before you commit — including optional services such as inspections, insurance, or special shipping arrangements.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Often yes, depending on the purchase method and timing. We’ll explain the deposit amount, what it secures, and the payment schedule before proceeding.

Inspection

Auction sheets, grades, mileage, and what “repair history” means.

What information will I receive before buying?
Where available, we provide auction inspection sheets, grading, mileage details, and supporting images/videos. We also explain any notes or concerns clearly (not just the positives).
What does an “R / RA” grade mean?
These grades generally indicate a vehicle with repair history (e.g., structural repair). The exact meaning can vary by auction house, so we’ll explain the sheet notes and advise whether it fits your goals and risk tolerance.
Can you arrange additional inspection?
In some cases, yes — depending on location, timing, and availability. We’ll confirm options and costs before ordering any extra checks.

Export & Shipping

Documents, shipping methods, and country-specific requirements.

Do you handle export documentation?
Yes. We support the export process and documentation required for shipping. We’ll also guide you on what your destination country typically needs (requirements vary by country).
Can you ship to New Zealand / Australia / UK?
Yes — we can coordinate shipping arrangements and provide guidance on country-specific import steps. Final compliance and import approval depend on local rules, so we confirm the details before moving forward.
What shipping methods are available?
Options depend on the vehicle type and destination. We’ll explain typical methods (e.g., RoRo or container) and recommend what suits your budget, timing, and protection needs.

Timeline

Typical steps and realistic expectations.

How long does the process take?
Timing depends on the vehicle, auction schedule, shipping route, and destination port. We provide an estimated timeline once the vehicle is secured and shipping options are confirmed.
Can you help me plan around a deadline?
Yes. Tell us your target date and flexibility. We’ll advise whether it’s realistic and suggest the best approach (for example, selecting vehicles with easier shipping schedules).

Support

Communication, updates, and what we do after you decide.

How will you keep me updated?
We keep communication clear and timely via email or your preferred channel. We share key milestones: vehicle secured, documentation progress, and shipping updates where available.
What if I’m not ready to buy yet?
That’s totally fine. Many customers start with market advice and model recommendations. We can help you understand typical costs and risks before you commit.
